As world leaders passed through Calgary International Airport on Sunday on their way to attend the G7 summit in Kananaskis, Alberta Premier Danielle Smith, Calgary Mayor Jyoti Gondek, Tsuut’ina First Nation Chief Steven Crowchild, Bearspaw First Nation Chief Darcy Dixon and others were on hand to welcome them to Canada.
In addition to presidents and prime ministers from G7 member nations, a number of leaders from non-member states were invited to join in the discussions in the Rocky Mountains west of Calgary until Tuesday.
