Oil and gas producer MEG Energy MEG-T said on Wednesday its Christina Lake regional project in Alberta was ramping up to full operations, following recent regional wildfires south of the facility.
The company said it has safely returned all personnel to the Christina Lake site and has begun restarting Phase 2B operations after the successful completion of a scheduled turnaround.

MEG said in late May it had evacuated workers from the facility after wildfires triggered a power outage, delaying the Phase 2B restart.
The phase accounts for about 70,000 barrels per day of production.
Wildfires across Alberta in May disrupted operations for several oil producers, including Canadian Natural Resources and Cenovus Energy, prompting temporary shutdowns and evacuations at multiple sites.
